About

Most scientific data is hard to explore and understand. The data itself, is often presented in large spreadsheets, which makes it hard to make use of for the average person.

Our goal is to change that by providing web-based tools that make the data more accessible to everyone.

Currently, database.earth provides detailed population information for all countries in the world. This includes births, deaths, life expectancy, population density, median age, fertility rate, infant mortality rate, and total population by regions, sub-regions, and countries.

We also provide charts and data for the contents of atmospheric gases such as Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Nitrous Oxide and Sulfur Hexafluoride.

All information provided on site is accompanied by graphs, charts, data visualizations, and in-depth analysis.

We Pledge..

  • to never misconstrue any data for political or ideological reasons.
  • to always strive to provide the latest, up-to-date data (through manual and automated processes).
  • to always acknowledge and correct errors when found.
