Glossary: Milankovitch Cycles
The three cycles related to variations in the Earthβs rotational and orbital characteristics around the sun that are believed to influence the occurrence of ice ages, occurring at 100,000, 41,000, and 22,000 years. Named after Serbian mathematician Milutin Milankovitch.
