In 1962, 🇨🇳China was the most populous country in the world, with a total of 664,614,650 people. Followed by 🇮🇳India, with the second largest population globally of 467,024,193 people in total. The country with the lowest population count for the year was 🇻🇦Holy See with only 916 people.
