The country with the highest annual population growth rate was 🇶🇦Qatar with a rate of 11.811%. Closely followed by 🇰🇼Kuwait with a population growth rate of 9.51%, and 🇸🇽Sint Maarten (Dutch part) with 8.762% population growth.

The country with the lowest annual population growth rate was 🇻🇦Holy See with -8.348%. Followed by 🇰🇳Saint Kitts and Nevis with a population growth rate of -2.388%, and 🇬🇼Guinea-Bissau with -2.111% population decline.

The geographic region with the highest population growth rate was Latin America and the Caribbean with a rate of 2.674%. Closely followed by Africa with a population growth rate of 2.51%, and Asia with a 2.445% population growth.

When devided into sub-subregions we can see that Central America had the highest population growth rate of 3.216%. Closely followed by Central Asia with a population growth rate of 3.178%, and Southern Africa with a 2.987% population growth.

If we devide the global population into income groups we can see that No income group available has the highest population growth rate of 3.33%. While the lowest population growth rate was recorded by High-income countries with a rate of only 1.163%.
