The country with the highest median age was 🇻🇦Holy See where the median is 45.10 years. Closely followed by 🇲🇨Monaco with a median age of 43.10 years, and 🇮🇲Isle of Man with 38.25.

The country with the lowest median age for the year was 🇲🇭Marshall Islands where the median is 13.40 years. Followed by 🇾🇪Yemen with a median age of 13.63, and 🇰🇪Kenya with 14.14 years.

The geographic region with the highest median age was Europe with a median of 33.36 years. Closely followed by Northern America with a median age of 31.52 years, and Oceania with 27.39 years of median age.

When devided into sub-subregions we can see that Western Europe had the highest median age of 35.01 years. Closely followed by Northern Europe with a median age of 34.53 years, and Southern Europe with 33.37 years of median age.

If we devide the global population into income groups we can see that High-income countries has the highest median age of 32.08 years. While the lowest median age is recorded by Low-income countries with a median age of only 16.23.
