Annual Net Migrations by Country in 1969

In 1969, 🇩🇪Germany was the country with the highest annual net migrations of 584,017 people for the year. Followed by 🇺🇸United States of America with 523,740 , and 🇭🇰China, Hong Kong SAR were 300,811 more people immigrated to than emigrated from the country.

The country with the lowest annual net migrations was 🇮🇳India with -851,844 people. Followed by 🇵🇭Philippines with a net migrations of -161,517, and 🇵🇹Portugal with -161,114 net migrations recorded.

The geographic region with the highest net migrations was Northern America with a total of 618,129 people dying for the year. Closely followed by Europe with a net migrations 402.522, and Americas with 184,261 net migrations recorded for the year.

When devided into sub-subregions we can see that Western Europe had the highest net migrations of 814,590 people. Closely followed by Eastern Asia with a net migrations of 241,691, and Central Asia with 170,546 net migrations recorded.

If we devide the global population into income groups we can see that High-income countries has the highest net migrations of 1,543,363. While the lowest net migrations is recorded by Low-and-middle-income countries were -1,540,977 more people emigrated than immigrated in that segment.
