Annual Net Migrations by Country in 1974

In 1974, 🇺🇸United States of America was the country with the highest annual net migrations of 789,950 people for the year. Followed by 🇨🇦Canada with 143,497 , and 🇸🇦Saudi Arabia were 138,421 more people immigrated to than emigrated from the country.

The country with the lowest annual net migrations was 🇧🇩Bangladesh with -349,410 people. Followed by 🇵🇭Philippines with a net migrations of -249,665, and 🇨🇳China with -175,304 net migrations recorded.

The geographic region with the highest net migrations was Northern America with a total of 933,138 people dying for the year. Closely followed by Europe with a net migrations 493.053, and Oceania with 57,498 net migrations recorded for the year.

When devided into sub-subregions we can see that Southern Europe had the highest net migrations of 206,536 people. Closely followed by Western Europe with a net migrations of 198,375, and Australia/New Zealand with 89,948 net migrations recorded.
