Annual Net Migrations by Country in 2015

In 2015, 🇺🇸United States of America was the country with the highest annual net migrations of 1,221,849 people for the year. Followed by 🇿🇦South Africa with 644,996 , and 🇮🇷Iran (Islamic Republic of) were 628,310 more people immigrated to than emigrated from the country.

The country with the lowest annual net migrations was 🇵🇰Pakistan with -2,172,159 people. Followed by 🇸🇾Syrian Arab Republic with a net migrations of -827,474, and 🇮🇳India with -475,094 net migrations recorded.

The geographic region with the highest net migrations was Northern America with a total of 1,453,945 people dying for the year. Closely followed by Europe with a net migrations 1308.115, and Oceania with 255,014 net migrations recorded for the year.

When devided into sub-subregions we can see that Western Europe had the highest net migrations of 730,559 people. Closely followed by Southern Africa with a net migrations of 623,952, and Northern Europe with 387,882 net migrations recorded.

If we devide the global population into income groups we can see that High-income countries has the highest net migrations of 3,926,786. While the lowest net migrations is recorded by Lower-middle-income countries were -3,570,234 more people emigrated than immigrated in that segment.
